Designer’s commentary: Resolve approached me to redesign their current platform. The technology behind was pretty good but the UI was very confusing. Usability was poor. This was a very complex platform with plenty of data to organise and put in meaningful order. User types would vary from developers to managers, to administrators - each with an individual set of tools. Creating a great user experience seemed like a real challenge.

Along with the project owner we started creating users stories and designing screens around them. Then we tested and analysed the new design with real users who were kind enough to give us honest feedback. After a few iterations and fine tuning we came up with an experience that most users were happy with. This is a project with a very large scope. We are talking about hundreds of screens designed.
