Disqus 2012 Website

Disqus 2012 website

Happy to announce that Disqus 2012 is here! It was amazing to have the opportunity to redesign the Disqus website and I'm thrilled to get to work with such an amazing team every day.

Most websites display screenshots and static photos of their product, but we wanted to take it a step further. The new website includes an interactive demo so you can experience the product without installing. But it's so ridiculously awesome, we know you'll end up installing it anyway.

Much like a tutorial in the beginning of a video game, the demo allows you to jump in at any point. You can follow the guide, or bypass the instructions and write your own story. Go give it a shot!

@vincelane knocked it out of the park with some sweet illustrations. @chrisjennings, @brianbenitez and Jono did an amazing job designing commenter interactions and the overall discussion experience. And of course it wouldn't have come together without some insanely smart Javascript developers (Steven and Burak). The gorgeous copy was written by the magnificent Mat Mullen. Last, but certainly not least, we have wonderful leaders steering the ship (Daniel Ha and Sam Parker). Great work everyone!
