Reduplicaiton Pattern

This is pattern is a branding component for a modular financial/investment App.

Taking inspiration from; Reduplication a linguistics term for a morphological process. Where the root or stem of a word (or part of it) or whole word is repeated exactly or with a slight change.

Each icon consists of 3 shapes, a Square, Quarter circle and the leaf. Set in a square 2x2 grid. The shapes repeat in changing positions and tints. This creates a reduplication of the icons, each is unique but familiar. I continued this concept by joining the individual icons to form a connected pattern.
