The Magician’s Hat
This is The Magician’s Hat, a horrible magical accident gone wrong. This horrid yet colorful rendition gives an idea of what’s really in a magician’s hat. It was inspired by my love of horror movies, zombies and plants. I like to think this plant has a taste for flesh, but who knows.
The illustration prominently features another favorite of mine, the color purple.
This is my first full illustration in Photoshop as I’m an adamant fanboy of illustrating in Illustrator. I definitely enjoyed this and learned quite a bit for the next time (already planning more).
