Slack Desktop App Redesign Concept

Hey! recent changes on slack branding got me thinking on a new look for their desktop app. Here's a concept design i did. My Goal was to create a cleaner and lighter look that will make the user focus on the most important part of the app(conversation/s). What do you think? Would love to hear your thoughts.
