MacBook Pro Touchbar rendering proccess

How do you guys like Touch Bar on your MacBooks?
I really missed Esc, some F-buttons, and also quick (more quick and «blind», then with Touch Bar) access to volume and brightness.

But I have an idea, how it can be used better.
F.e. we can show here some long ongoing processes with main call to action then.

Of course this will be ideal as add-on to physical buttons : )

Any thoughts on that?
