Gordo Taqueria is an authentic original in the San Francisco area - slinging beeeeeautiful tacos, burritos and quesadillas. Their main objective was to expand the brand outside of California and evolve the visual identity into something that felt warm and authentic.
Tacos in general being an office hero around Focus Lab, we dove right in. The main logotype is was based off the handmade visuals from the awnings that hung above each location. We created original illustrations and a few hand lettered words and phrases to be sprinkled throughout the brand that conveyed the handmade quality of the food.
We had a ton of fun on this one, and are still dreamin’ about those tacos and burritos.
