I Saved Latin
I designed this over a year ago now, but I forgot to post it. This piece is inspired by one of my all time favorites is Wes Anderson's 1998 film Rushmore. Written by Anderson as well as Owen Wilson.
In 2014, American Laundromat Records released: I Saved Latin! A Tribute to Wes Anderson. It features some of the greatest independent artists out there including: Saint Motel and Generationals, covering songs from many of Anderson's films.
My top pick from the album is definitely Juliana Hatfield's cover of Elliott Smith's Needle in the Hay. I previously picked it up on CD and Vinyl, but now I am going to have to get it on cassette. Check it out, give it a listen, and maybe pick up a copy for yourself!
