Watts

I did several more portraits this week for this series I'm working on.

This one is an ink portrait on cardstock of American actress, Mary Stuart Masterson as Watts from the movie "Some Kind of Wonderful".

A bit of trivia: I sketch these out in nonphoto blue colored pencil and then ink directly over that. The blue generally doesn't show up when I scan the image, but that may also be because I sketch very lightly. I also correct the contrast in Photoshop and/or Lightroom as needed.
