My first status update design and I was critiqued hard from my developer. It made me think about how important it is to have great communication between designers and developers when building an application.

I often try to think what the process for a developer is like, how can I make their life easier, are my designs easy for the engineers to understand.

Don't take criticism personal because it will happen. Stay open minded and take this opportunity to learn what works and what doesn't so that it doesn't happen twice in the future.
