Jobs To Be Done Research

The Challenge: Snag acquired an enterprise software product loaded with years of sales-driven features and tech debt; as a result, the product was robust but complex and lost focus on the needs and desires of its primary users.

The Result: Leveraging the Jobs to Be Done Framework, we underwent an extensive, three-month-long research project to understand the core needs of the users. Speaking with a variety of stakeholders, internally across multiple departments as well as external clients and users, allowed us to solidify five core jobs that users hire the product to perform. Going forward, all candidate experiences and features would tie back to one of the five core jobs to be done, which enhanced focus and increased efficiency.
