If you work in a big organization, profile photos in Slack help a lot in identifying the correct person. When there are more than 200 people in a team with multiple same names, identifying them via their profile pic becomes habit. Previewing photo on mentioned username will also give assurance of tagging the correct person.

I am trying something new. I feel Daily UI is bigger ask for designer who have full time jobs. I am taking the challenge by going more granular. I will post small web UI components everyday. This will also be great exercise on strategizing modular UI components that can scale.
