German Cookies are called Kekse
I am Dutch but i live in Germany and one of the traditions i really like here is the Christmas cookie tradition. Everybody bakes all kinds of cookies and shares them with friends and family. I must admit that it is not the baking part that i like, but the eating. I try to hold back because unfortunately i do not have a fast metabolism. đŹ But i can tell you that holding back with home backed vanillekipferl and zimtsterne is very very hard... .
