Dee Why Point at Midday

I've been illustrating local beaches and landscapes here in Australia and adding tiny Australian animals to each illustration.

These animals can be found at each illustrated beach and many of these individual creatures even exist in real life and have special nicknames given to them by the locals.

I call this series: Beaches Creatures – Little Aussie Creatures Hanging Out at Local Beaches.

Here’s the first of this series called ‘Dee Why Point’ – This is actually the view from outside my little art studio and I often see this little guy (Sulphur Crested Cockatoo) fly onto the Surf Club roof to feed on the Norfolk Pine leaves.
