iPhone Swiping

Starting on my first iPhone game.. mostly to learn. I have a decent simple idea so we'll see how it goes. This is part of the code to decide the the finger is swiping up, down, left, or right. I suppose this sort of functionality is built in somehow with the native iPhone SDK but I'm playing with Corona (http://anscamobile.com/) which is more like actionscript which I understand better. I'll hopefully continue working on this and posting updates.
