The craft behind search funcionality in web hosting

This is my entry for the SiteGround Playoff which is about what craft in web hosting means to me.
Web hosting and scripts are mysterious for many of us as we mainly care about good design. So personally I don't know how exactly bots are working only that they have to fetch and analyze information at a much higher rate than a human could do.
Web technology also changes relatively fast. Gone are the days when Web 2.0 was something new and exciting, now we already have Web 3.0. On the other hand people don't just request a host for their websites, they need specific services and solutions in a package like email, SEO, different applications, advanced search functions, ecommerce etc. So what is new today can be faded like an old picture by tomorrow
