Logo and Album Cover for Rock Band - Soom

I'm passionate about making designs for music bands. Did lots of graphic stuff for local bands back there in 2015, and I still in love with this one!

My task was to design SOOM lettering which has to contain an allusion on a Ukrainian trident. The design had to reflect the atmosphere from folk tales of Western Ukraine combined with modern psychedelia aesthetics. I also had to hide '420' somewhere, as the band genre is Stoner Doom. It is inside that triangular section at the bottom of the logo.

My favourite thing about this logo is is that it is perceived not only as lettering, but also as one self-sufficient graphic form. That floral line dynamics manner makes it look like a piece of some folk pattern. I also can see a kind of a creature in there because of these double “O” letters in the center😶

There's also a booklet with their folk stories and song lyrics, and some photos of versions of the real album released. That wooden box-set contains a set of herbs collected in the mountains where these folk stories are born.
