Adams K9 Training

Working on a concept for a Dog trainer, named "Adams K9 Training"... I'm trying a concept where "Adams" loosely ressembles a dog, but I'm trying to find a good balance between readability and actually 'seeing' the dog. I've been struggling getting the "s" looking like an "s" and less like a "b"...still playing with the height of the "s" as well. I'm hoping that having "K9 Training" below the name might help make it more understandable? Though, I'd love for the logo to be able to stand alone, and not need that tagline to make it so.

Thoughts? What could I do to this to make it an even better concept?
