That's just how I feel. (Forrst) It's really overwhelming to me; there's too much stuff going on there, too many options, too many things to do.

Hence, you need to put quite amount of time into it if you want to catch up. That's not doable if you're already involved in other (social) networks and have a business to run.

For me, it's easier to catch up with Dribbble, because it's more focused - it serves only this one purpose, and it doesn't require that amount of time if you want keep with what's going on.

I'd like to clarify: I'm not against Forrst or anything, I'm far from making any kind of judgmenets.

I felt the same way, which is why I think Codesnipp.it could stand a chance against them, since we're much more simple.

To be honest I love Forrst but I am used to huge heavy forums so I never get lost or feel overwhelmed.

Guess I won't be sending you a Forrst invite then Michal ;)

    @Tim Thanks!
@Amber Thanks. I just hope Envato won't "kick you out of business". It's really depressing when you have to fight against those big guys to defend your personal project. And you've put A LOT into it.

@Harry I'm a Forrst member :). That's why I thought I could share my feeling, I've had a chance to mess around with Forrst for a while.

@Michal I don't think they will. While I was super pissed wen I heard about Sniplr, they don't have a social aspect to the site (and the site is horrendous), so crossing my fingers ;)

@Amber That is true, but everything may change, and that's what I'm worried about. I have a feeling they bought for the future, and they will get back to it. They will redesign it, fire up their "magical marketing" and all the blind sheep will follow ;/. I'm sure you know what I mean.

I do, I do.....but there's nothing I can do about it so no sense in worrying you know? Just hoping people will see how awesome CS is and use it instead.

@Amber Got it. It's gaining popularity already and saw it mentioned on some big and popular sites, so I hope it'll be just fine. Fingers crossed!

People like and need different things and we are fortunate to be spoilt rotten for choice. One downside is that there isn't enough time to spread yourself around :/

It is a shame you have been getting flamed via email for what is a just a honest passive perspective.

As you know I run a design community website and you learn that you can't be everything to everyone. You offer a home and if someone feels comfortable then they will stay and be active.

@Mark I read all those emails, but I didn't really care.

If everyone could just have that healthy attitude Kyle showed me today, that would be great. He knows different people have different preferences and he can't deliver to everyone.

It's apples and oranges. The way users interact with dribbble & forrst is very different.

Forrst has always been designed to work as a COMMUNITY.

@Pasquale I agree. Yet, there seems to be this weird Dribbble vs. Forrst thing going on. I guess mainly because they share one thing, posting snaps/shots.

But then again, I'm not making any judgements, I just shared my opinion on this.
