At Mediacurrent we've been hard at work revising the bits and pieces of our visual identity in conjunction with launching our new, decoupled website. This logo was developed for our Friday 5 video series. The concept is simple – the host, Mark Casias, typically uses his 5 fingers as a hand gesture when introducing the episode and the videos always end with an enthusiastic team member high five, thus the hand illustration. The illustration here compliments our icon set being developed by @Becky Cierpich in line weight and style yet the shapes are organic enough to give it a more human, less digital feel. It is so fresh that it has yet to be used in an episode of the series!
