Images can really drive the user experience. We were exploring an early concept for a product page which focused on lifestyle shots to sell the end product.
We'd recommend always using relevant, high quality (where applicable) images. It's a fine balance between keeping people engaged with images + content. Be mindful that you're not overwhelming with too much visual distraction.
