Thirty Logos : Ping - Design

The start of another week, with a new post of "Thirty Logos", which is all about learning the process of logo design and make myself valuable.

BRIEF

This brand is called Ping which is a growing chat platform for businesses and small teams. What sets them apart is that they offer group screen sharing free of charge.

They wanted the logo to be text-based, with an icon that represents the ping brand. They were open to any color schemes with an exception to blue.

PROCESS

This is the final part where I show the logo on real world mock-ups and the final design choice, which in this case is a chat icon.

After trying out different ideas, this is what I ended up with as the final choice.
