Daily UI Challenge – Day #005: App Icon

This was my first time attempting an illustration for an app store icon. My goal was to make the icon colorful and recognizable at different scales.

This icon would be for an app that tells you exactly what time the sun is going to be setting. I realized after working on this how similar the style is to Aaron Draplin's "Thick Lines" poster series.
