Habits of Effective Fundraisers

This illustration was created as the hero image for a NationBuilder article about effective fundraising, which included data-driven insights for building a sustainable small donor program.

This illustration is the revised result of several iterations of net-swinging green people. The primary idea behind the illustration style was a focus on movement; both the implied movement of the character, and the movement of the viewer’s eye as they observe it. Effort was made to try to reduce or eliminate as many had-stop angles as possible. Texture and shading was added for depth. This illustration is the first of several that seek to apply this similar style.
