Agostinho - Confissões

Augustine was a Christian philosopher and theologian who wrote several books, among them his most famous "Confessions". I love this book but when I decided to make a cover to it, I wanted to get away from the common sense that surrounds the figure of Augustine and create a new version of the original sense of a confession, according to him.

To confess is to undress all good and bad memories and to approach God. It is as if these memories form a wall, a platform that, once removed, raise us to infinity. To complete the design, I created this 'wall' with a color palette inspired in african patterns because Augustine was an African author.
