Had a great conversation with Brand strategist Mark Pollard. His definition of strategy really stuck with me: "Strategy is an informed opinion about how to win."

It has a couple of elements:
- Informed: meaning you need to do your research, you need to be informed about the situation
- Opinion: it's an opinion, not a fact, strategy is not science, it's the combination of science and empathy, gut feeling, creativity.
- How to win: strategy inevitably tries to reach to most possible outcome, it solves a problem, it opens opportunities,.. Never do strategy to go backward.
