Dug up a logo I used for myself last year. Not sure if I am going to hold on to it or go in a different direction. What do you think?

I think it's too much "fun", comparing to your last projects. Define the direction you want to go and then decide if you keep it or change. But I like it, anyway.
I'm not sure that projects should define you. A brand for a person should exemplify the person. Who are you? Are you fun and zany, but at the same time very crisp and well put together? If so this brand fits... just my $0.02
I think its awesome!
I agree with Andrew, knowing what i know about you. I'd say keep it clean and that slight 3d feel to it. If I were to change something I'd take the "zany" out of it. And give more of a calm, cool, collected feel to it. Cause from working with you, that's how I see you.
@Zachary Burghardt nice work man ++
Thanks everyone for all the responses. Although I do like the look and feel of this, I don't think it fits me or my target audience. Your comments have reassured what I was thinking. But thanks for all the kind words.
Aside from the motivational value of it, the presentation itself is great. Subtle floating, perfect lighting on the logo, tiny bevels for the 3D aspects.
It's edgy, so like everyone else said, it makes perfect sense to connect that personality appropriately. Nice job overall.
By the way, I'm glad you like my Daft Punk. :)
Thank you for the kind words @Rick
I've seen this logo somewhere and remembered it, which is always a good sign... you might want to hold on to it or just slightly modify. Thumbs up!
