"CR" = continuous remission, an abbreviation normally attributed to the status of cancer patients who no longer manifest the presence of tumors. Such is my status.
As of the first week of September 2018, we mark more than 4,560 days since our original diagnosis (DX) with mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
August 23 as the 11th year anniversary of my 2007 allogeneic stem cell transplant at City of Hope to treat mantle cell lymphoma. Thank you to all the caregivers and especially my German donor, Torben Christiansen!
So, we reflect upon week of August 19, 2018, marks the 11th anniversary of the allogeneic (unrelated donor) stem cell transplant (SCT) that helped bring me to a state of longterm remission from mantle cell lymphoma (MCL blastoid type). This archive deals with that story.

Some of the #SocialCurrentSee.com® archives of mine are related to a personal experience with caregiving situations. I couldn’t avoid the experience due to a now more than 12-year recovery from mantle cell lymphoma (MCL).
Fortunately, I can attest to long-term remission since January 2010, but I am still mindful and grateful for the boundless number of caregivers who had a role in my treatment and recovery.
Certainly, these caregivers still have a role in my continuing care. I could not be more blessed or more grateful.
The "CANSWERIST" experience and contacts over the last 12+ years underscore the need for communication with not just the caregiving team of professionals, but also contact and consultation with others having the same experience. That's why this invitation to consultation.
One of the most effective ways to research and connect with these informal consultants is the use of social media where, again, the variety, breadth, and depth of contacts is boundless.
