Newton Heath L.Y.R F.C Plaque (2016)
In early 2016, I began a petition on change.org for Manchester Council to make and replace the original red plaque that was stolen in 2000 when Moston Brook High School was located there.
This spot (co. 53.503479, -2.201070) is the former football ground of Newton Heath L.Y.R F.C from 1878 to 1893, this football club was later renamed Manchester United Football Club. I designed and ordered the plaque online and had it delivered to the current spot, which is currently owned by Fujitsu.
A few months later, I was invited to the premises in Manchester as a guest and was overwhelmed.
