Dear Dribbble Community
I've always been awed by the shots uploaded by you guys and you have inspired me to adapt, learn and draw consistently to better myself. As such, I hope that my shot will inspire some of you and together, we can reach new heights in the realm of design.
The phoenix you see here was drawn for my school's overseas community service project, namely Project Phoniksa III, held in Vietnam, Hue. I was part of the volunteers going abroad to help the children in the area and I felt the need to draw something to represent our cause. The phoenix has always been the identity for the project and to further illustrate the revival of the village, I redesigned the phoenix with a landing shot. To challenge myself, I tried to give the phoenix as much details as possible, referencing Harry Potter, eagles and Chinese illustrations, all within the constrain of a circle mask.
Once again, thank you dribbble community for looking at my shot and also, a special thanks to @Matthew Roberts for inviting me to dribbble. Uploading to dribbble has always been on my mind for the past few years and now, I have finally taken my first step! Thank you again for viewing.
