If I'm honest, this was something I was really hoping to see in the Photoshop CS6 update.
- Re-orderable hierarchy of Layer Styles.
- 'Add Layer Style', if you wanted say another drop shadow, another gradient overlay..
What do you think?
they'd do this long time ago
if they cared
If they cared?
@Russell Bishop — I think this makes more sense if the layer effects could be reordered in the layers palette. Changing them in the global dialog box could get confusing.
Adding multiple styles is something I'd like to see.
Multiple layer styles was on To-Do list for the last 5 years or so.
The fact that they haven't done this yet baffles me!
@Jack Bingham Great point - I hadn't considered this because I tend to hide layer styles in the Palette.
@Goran Daemon Peuc So why aren't we seeing it?!
@Russell Bishop too little people would use it (mostly web designers) and in too little cases. Admit it, it would be cool to have it, but for so long we managed without it. Apparently takes too much code rework.
@Goran Daemon Peuc do you know that for a fact or just speculating?
@Russell Bishop Discussed that at one point with John Nack (Adobe Principal Product Manager)
