Dipping into Lent

For this publication the author supplied lenten meditations along side their own photographs.
The concept was inspired by the idea of the reader 'dipping' into a moment of reflection. This is mirrored throughout the design through the use of watercolour marks layered with the imagery. The fusion of the watercolour texture with the photographs creates a similar quality which aids the reader to immerse themselves in the meditations.
The repetition of the use of the colour purple, the colour most associated with lent, allows continuity between the imagery, text and quotes
