Wonderment logo

I've been having a blast diving into branding for my startup, Wonderment. This is the final logo design I settled on after months of iterating.

Since Wonderment is a publishing startup, I initially toyed around with the idea of using a book as the logo. That seemed a bit too obvious when I started mocking up actual book covers, though, and so I changed over to a "W" as the first letter of the name.

The stroke at the bottom acts as a color mark, which lets me pull in a secondary color in some situations, instead of just having the entire logo be a single color. It also helps make things a bit more visually interesting than just a "W" sitting there by itself. :)

Excited to share more behind the scenes this week!
