Hello Dribbble and please welcome Novi

Hello dribbble! Please welcome "Novi" to the interwebs because this is my very first typeface design created at Type@Paris18.

Novi means "new" in Latin which felt like a good way to start this journey off. Novi is based on the handwriting manual "La Operina" by Arrighi which was printed in the 16th century.
