My Neighbor Totoro

I was inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's description of the Japanese idea “Ma” as the time between claps. I feel like Totoro is a movie overflowing with "Ma" and I wanted to capture a feeling of tension that lurks beneath the simplicity of the movies plot.
