Article page for the redesign of The National Interest, an American bimonthly international affairs magazine.

Author pages provided an opportunity to highlight the expertise of National Interest's authors and giving them a visually distinct archive of all of their work on the site.

The redesign was focused on balancing advertising throughout the user experience, prominently positioning magazine features, and enhancing the ability to relate magazine features to high trafficked blog posts.

The redesign was very successful: with a 48% increase in ranking keywords and an increase of average time on the site (up to 3:11). Thanks to these boosts, subscriptions to the magazine increased, expanding National Interest's viewership.
