This is a first for me as for site designs like this. I have always tried to veer away from the full page / full slider look however this was by request of the client and I can say that I definitely enjoyed it much more than I previously thought.
Aside from a full page background slider the client also wanted an entire facelift as far as branding was concerned for the website as well. Marketing towards ages 12 - 40. Also, a large part was making this friendly for both secular and more religious crowds.
Had a ton of fun with this one. Now on to Version 2..

Beautiful man. The type and colors really complement the attitude of the photo.
The only thing that really bugs me about full-page designs like this is how the logo and the login stuff on the far right end up pushed wayyy into the corners of a large monitor. I feel like they should only be allowed to expand out so far maybe 13-1400 pixels before a max-width kicks in. Otherwise those very important design elements end up getting lost.
Very good point Chris. I'm actually not doing the development on this one so I might bring that option up when the time comes. Again this is a little bit of foreign territory for me but oddly learning a lot, who knew?! haha
Looks good really good. The titling is very nice.
What on earth did your client mean that he wants this friendly for both religious and secular crowds? That's one of the oddest requests I've heard for what looks like a website that doesn't have religious subject matter.
Thanks Doug! What he was trying to relay is that it has to be friendly to all groups of young people. They get orders and viral videos from both College frat houses to Church camps alike. I'm sure you would agree those are 2 completely different environments to play the game lol.
Not to mean anything offensive by it, he just wanted to get in an in your face attitude with the brand without excluding any type of young person.
That's pretty much the hottest thing I've seen this year.
Damn, thanks Ron!
Dang! That looks great Jonden. Trying out a new style and killin' it right away. I'm impressed, homie!
Absolutely love this! You nailed it Jonden!
Looks nice but the type sizes seem quite small.
@Emir Ayouni | Growcase| Growcase, @Andrey S. Rodrigues, @Hugo Loning, @Tony Lane , Thanks guys!
Anthony, which type are you referring to? Any section in particular?
@Tony Lane At first, I thought the same thing, then realized I could enlarge the full size shot. Just wondering if you enlarged it or not.
@Jonden Jackson Looks really nice, man.
@Kevin Burr Nope, didn't. Forget what I said Jonden.
Haha, no sweat Tony
Thanks everyone, the feedback and love is greatly appreciated
@Jonden Jackson, this is really nice. I've always been a fan of full screen photography. The look and feel of this photo works really well with the branding. Hopefully the other photos work just as well. The only thing that I'm not totally sold on is the CTA... it's rounded and everything else is very angular plus the blue just doesn't fit...
Very nice! Are you carrying the full bg photo style to pages?
Thanks Diego, no likely not. Probably going to keep it just for the home
