I've been working on a personal project for over a year now and it's nearing completion. I've always like games and decided to make one ... from scratch.
Basing it on a game called Populous and teaching myself how to code, I got stuck in for the long haul. I really wanted the look and feel to be unique, applying my own design ethics to create a retro pixel based look.

Fucking beautiful Jon!
& welcome to dribbble (finally)!
wow that has to be the best debut shot ever, a game from scratch.
That's pretty awesome.
Man that is kicking the ass.
"Populous" is the first word that come to my brain after watching your shot.
I think you have created something amazing, and that is going to become really famous between indie developers and players.
By the way, @Jon, have you submited it to the Indiegames blog? http://indiegames.com/index.html
Thanks for all the feedback guys, @Javier Thanks, yes indie games picked up on the dev blog sometime last year when it was very early days.
Been following Reprisal for months now. Happy to see you on Dribbble too :D
