Woodpecker

Our Amsterdam office is more populated than ever and with all the meetings going on these days, we finally took the time to name our meeting rooms! We've named each one after a different kind of bird, and created a visual to display on the schedule screen for each room. After putting some thought into what kind of visuals would fit this setting best, I was inspired by @Tenney 's awesome illustrations to create a more realistic depiction of a woodpecker in its natural habitat.

However, with great texture comes great amounts of lag. Do you have any tips for keeping illustrator from getting too slow?
