Animal Kingdom Badge – Dinoland U.S.A.

Next up in the series of 20th Anniversary Disney Animal Kingdom badges: Dinoland USA. I love the Dino Institute building so here's a tribute featuring the original fountain dinosaur: a styracosaurus.

There's a ton of great detail in Dinoland. I'm a fan of all the theming done to make Restaurantosaurus look like the off-hours hangout for a bunch of archaeological grad students. One of my favorite hidden "secrets" is in the queue for Dinosaur. There is a set of three pipes (red, yellow, and white) slightly above eye-level right before you board. The chemical formulas on each pipe correspond to ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise. This is a nod to the attraction's original sponsor: McDonald's!
