Snapchat Geofilters

Throughout my junior and senior year of high school, I was really into designing my own geofilters as Snapchat increasingly became a popular social media platform.

The first design was for my hometown: Mukilteo. I decided to create animals in the shape of letters just for my own satisfaction. The city honestly has no correlation with animals but I just really wanted to make something that I instantly wanted to see pop up on my phone. Should have designed for the Woodland Park Zoo... I guess that's for another future project!

My second geofilter was for my leadership class project. I wanted to turn a space at my school to be more recognizable among the student body. The East Campus was located in a small, far-off section from the Main Campus and was considered neglected and empty. I decided to at least make a geofilter for the East Campus to give it some more love. <3

The Uknight for Special Olympics 5K Race/Walk was a one day event held at Kamiak High School which fundraised for our students participating in Special Olympics. All proceeds directly funded for uniforms, transportation, tournaments, etc. The main design was drawn out by one of the athletes, Kenny Nguyen, and I vectorized and colored the image, creating the brand for the event.
