Feature Request

This has been requested numerous times before and I don’t know who is that product manager that stubbornly refuses to change this, but it’s getting extremely annoying to wait for ~50-100 tabs to load after an accidental click that could have been prevented if only there was a warning message implemented. And before you say it, the “Continue where you left off” setting is not a solution. On Windows, there’s no long press Cmd+Q option. Various plug-ins from the store are clunky and don’t work as intended. Keeping a pinned tab on simply for this JS workaround is a crude solution for such a rudimentary thing. @Google You say that you don’t want to get in your users’ way and call it a day. But UX is never done; it’s fluid and it’s always changing. Rules about UX are not set in stone. The better thing to do in this case would be to offer a choice—then you could call it a day. Every single browser has this baked in it natively, but Chrome.
