If a mock up is worth 1,000 words then a prototype has to be worth like what... 1,000,000,000 words?
In all seriousness though we love being able to bring interactions to life quickly. It helps us make sure we're going down the right path so we don't waste time building something that might not work. Prototypes help us quickly articulate the vision so that every client feels confident we understand their needs.
