I think what I love about UX Design realm is that it stimulates your analytical thinking, it demands you to formulate questions and always, always keep the users in mind when designing visually. So here is a little description about this design.
Overview: This is a concept design for DB, a PDF Markup tool that allows for live collaboration across the team on every project. This product is available on Windows 10, iOS and the web, for design and construction.
Demographic: Architectures, engineers and construction staff members.
Execution: I Started off by planning out my process by having a competitive analysis, developing a quick information architecture and sketching out a short user journey. After creating a moodboard and deciding on the overall mood and transition of the app, I then jumped on Sketch to design the main mockup.
Takeaway: I approached this work from holistic viewpoint where from user perspective, everything in the toolset and dashboard needed to be more cohesive while maintaining a seamless transition. Live communication across the team members is the most important element in this product in order to provide more efficiency to the entire workflow. Moreover, creating tasks and assigning members adds more into the productivity of users.
Now, I'd love to hear your thoughts, if any!
