As I mentioned in my previous post, I spent the month of January creating one letter a day from a simple set of shapes and varying colors.
At the end of the month, I had enough momentum that I thought I’d take it a step further and create my first font! Claypots has an extremely limited character set, and is really only useful in Illustrator/Photoshop until support for color fonts spreads.
Caveats aside, I had a really great time working on it and if you want to try it out, I made it free and open source, available at: https://github.com/EricKramp/claypots
Let me know what you think and if you make anything cool with it!
