Small part of style guide project I'm working on for embroker.com.
Most of the buttons, around 90% of them, are part of long forms on users journey. Although all of them have different copy, I have grouped them in four major groups, related to their behaviour. Every group has it's unique animation that describes buttons purpose. This is the way to quickly show to the user what will happen next. It is faster for eye scanning then reading long copy.
We are building living style guide that will help in future system development. Components with high level of direct user interaction, like buttons, will have subtle motion effects to support description of their behaviour.
