The Grey - Feedback wanted!

Custom "grey" type for a client. Does this read as grey? Is the g obvious enough? Looks like a lowercase g to me, but I'm way to close to this to judge. Did you see the g right away or too tough to read? Thoughts and feedback much appreciated!
