Bez app icon

This is the icon for vector graphic editor application.
The challenge was to design the icon which will be in-between skeuomorphic and flat styles.
There were various concepts and finally we ended up using this one. The icon with flat nature, but with curved leaf adding a little bit of volume.

What do you think, guys, was the task completed?

PS. As always we are open to new challenges :)
