Respect The Labor

I guess for starters I should say I'm not a hunter, so a lot of the content here I have had to learn a lot about before designing into this area. My 9-to-5 job has me designing for all outdoor categories in the outdoor retail space, from skiing and snowboarding to hunting and fishing. Some I know lots about and hunting for instance, I have had to really dig in on to understand the customer and the messages communicated.

This particular graphic goes after the narrative focused on the labor or work involved in hunting big game. Oftentimes days on end and far out in the backcountry. A few hunters I have followed that convey these ideals are people like Remi Warren. It's a very interesting market to design for, a very specific customer, and an even tighter story to convey but I can really appreciate the environmental stewardship and minimal approach to a respectful hunt.

Hit "L" if you dig it.
