The Knot Unites

I'm working on some Stafford-themed heraldry. I've been researching old family crests/coat of arms and creating more modern takes on traditional imagery.

This is a "Stafford Knot," which is a three-looped simple overhand knot. Read more about it's mysterious origin: goo.gl/Dgmtjz

The best part about the motto, "The Knot Unites," is it could easily be mistaken for, "The Knot Unties," which creates a funny little paradox.
